Qi Gong & Breathing - deepening the experience and awareness of energy, movement, and breath

Tai Chi/Qi Gong - working with Tai Chi forms, loosening exercises, partner work and Qi Gong for improved health

Ryoho Therapeutic Yoga is a powerful fusion of Hatha yoga, TCM meridians and 5-Element Theory, Japanese Zen Shiatsu, breathing techniques, food as medicine, and Macrobiotic philosophy. Each season has specific meridians, organs and elements we focus on. This powerful system of healing gives access to improving a range of health and wellness issues from boosting digestive function and relieving lower back pain to soothing anxiety and increasing clarity and focus. Danielle’s yoga classes combine elements of Qi Gong, Feldenkrais, and breathing practices with Ryoho yoga therapy to increase body-mind connection and create real and lasting change. Qi Gong, Tai Chi & Functional Breathing 

6 WEEK INTRODUCTORY COURSE – Learn a range of simple accessible tools and techniques to reduce anxiety, move with mindfulness and get more oxygen to your cells. Become aware of your breath and its impact on your nervous system and overall health, as you discover the benefits and mechanisms of fully functional breathing. The classes in this course work with simple yet powerful movements to improve circulation and joint health while increasing body awareness and mindful presence. You’ll come away from the course empowered with the knowledge of what healthy breathing is, it’s systemic wellness benefits and how to work towards them. You’ll gain powerful insights and tools to reduce stress and anxiety, while boosting the overall health of your body and mind. Suitable for all levels of fitness and ability, these courses are ideal for beginners and create strong foundations for further work with the internal energetic arts.

ONGOING CLASSES – Once you’ve completed an introductory course, continue your journey of building connection, awareness and energy flow within the body with a weekly class. Steve continues to build on the foundations laid in the introductory course on a class by class basis.
